A shop-vac gets the visible puddle. Our Water Extraction process is built for what's still soaking into materials underneath, which is where the real damage lives.

We measure extraction success with a moisture meter against a dry baseline, not by how the surface looks or feels, since a floor can appear dry while the material underneath stays saturated.
None of this changes for a small job either — the same standard applies whether it's a single-room water extraction call or a larger one.
We built this list around what typically goes wrong when water extraction gets handled by a generalist instead of a specialist.
Commercial extraction units outpull portable equipment on every surface type we work with.
We test multiple points across the affected area before calling extraction complete.
Less drive time means extraction starts sooner, which matters most in the first hours.
The quote reflects the actual square footage and severity, not a per-gallon meter running up.
Every part of water extraction work below carries the same documentation standard, whether it's a small job or a larger one.
Standing water comes out first, then detailed extraction moves into carpet, pad, and seams.
Specialized wands lift water between boards without forcing moisture deeper into the wood.
Pad gets extracted independently from the carpet surface, since it retains water far longer.
Slab surfaces absorb and release moisture on a different timeline than wood subfloor.
Furniture and upholstered items get evaluated on-site for extraction versus replacement.
We don't sign off on extraction without a documented reading behind it.
This is the same sequence every water extraction job follows, regardless of size.
A real person answers, asks a few fast questions, and routes the nearest available crew.
Local staging is what makes rapid arrival possible, rather than a promise with nothing behind it.
You approve the number before equipment turns on — no surprise invoice after the fact.
A job isn't closed on a visual check — it's closed on a verified reading.
We don't cherry-pick which water extraction jobs get reviewed — this is a representative cross-section.
"Moisture readings after the fact gave me real confidence, not just a verbal assurance."
Jasper L., Preston"Our office flooded overnight and extraction was finished before staff walked in for the morning shift."
Rosalind P., Preston"Extraction from our finished basement slab was handled with a completely different approach than I expected, and they explained why."
Micah S., Preston"They extracted from behind built-in cabinetry without damaging the cabinets themselves, which I honestly hadn't expected them to manage."
Fernanda Q., Preston"Extraction under a built-in bookshelf unit was handled without us having to empty and move it ourselves first."
Zora P., PrestonThese are the questions we hear most often about water extraction, gathered from real calls, not a generic template list.
Our water extraction coverage spans 83263, with crews positioned to reach any address in the service area quickly.
Coverage extends past the immediate area, so an outlying Preston address isn't treated as a lower priority for water extraction.
If you're unsure whether your address falls in our water extraction service area, just call — we'll confirm quickly rather than making you guess.
